A documentary film to increase public awareness and collaboration among NGOs around the Black Sea

Documentary film on the Black Sea entitled “The Sea That Nearly Died” was prepared by TVE. The documentary explains the causes of the problems facing the Black Sea to the general public, while highlighting what action needs to occur to protect this vital marine system through three interrelated stories about real people with a close connection to the Black Sea.” The Sea That Nearly Died” was broadcast on BBC World, on the 26th of May 2007 at 09:30 GMT. The documentary reached 280 million homes in 125 countries.
