Call for Proposals

EDM now requests proposals from civil society organizations (NGOs, CBOs) to support innovative projects on sustainable water supply, sanitation; climate change adaptation and awareness-raising for responsible water resource management. Projects should take place in one or more of the following countries: including Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, The Maldives, Turkey, UAE and Ukraine.

UNDP Country Offices (COs) can submit the shortlisted proposals using on-line application form, on or before 21 June 2010 at 17:00h GMT + 1. The signature page must be signed, scanned and submitted with the electronic form of the proposal.

2011 Every Drop Matters Evaluation Workshop

The Every Drop Matters Evaluation Workshop was held on Feb 1-2, 2011 in Istanbul. The workshop gathered around 50 people representing 22 countries of RBAS, RBEC and RBAP regions. The aim was to evaluate the completed projects, identify lessons learned and look ahead at the next phase of Coca Cola – UNDP Partnership.

The workshop kicked-off with UNDP and TCCC representatives’ presentations from Croatia, Romania, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Armenia, Ukraine and Black Sea, where they shared project outputs during the period of 2007-2010.

The presentations were followed by discussions and a panel devoted to challenges and opportunities from Arab States and Asia Pacific regions.

The continuation of the workshop focused on the modality of the new multi-regional partnership and participants shared their opinions and suggestions based on their countries and regions priorities.
