EDM Water Conservation Training begins in Saray

Training on sustainable water management and efficient water use was kicked off in Saray municipality on 8 September 2008. The first day of training was successfully completed, with the participation of 46 local school teachers from the community. Trainer Prof. Dr. Kemal Sönmez from Ankara University provided an informative presentation and led interactive discussions concerning local water issues among participants in both sessions. Training will continue in coming weeks, targeting school children and the women of the community.
