Every Drop Matters goes to World Water Week in Stockholm

On 20 August 2008, Regional Project Manager Dr. Bogachan Benli presented Every Drop Matters in a seminar held during Stockholm World Water Week.

The presentation came as part of a World Water Week seminar titled “Partnering with Business to Find Sanitation Solutions”, co-convened by UNDP, World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP Turkey, Ulrika Richardson-Golinski, opened the session by highlighting UNDP commitment and initiatives working with the private sector in the field of sanitation and water issues under the scope of MDG-7, followed by Kadri Ozen, Director of Public Affairs and Communications for The Coca-Cola Company Eurasia Group, who introduced the multi-national’s commitment towards environment and water stewardship. The five-year  partnership project “Every Drop Matters” and its impacts were then presented by Regional Project Manager Dr. Bogachan Benli as a real case study of business working on sanitation in partnership with a major international organization.
